Failure to crack for Manchester United. Once eliminated from the Champions League, the 'Red Devils' to rise and is now determined to win in all competitions that they follow.

After losing 1-2 in the last Matchday of the Basel group phase, which make them out, Manchester United cruised by winning four consecutive wins in the Premier League. In the four wins, they created 16 goals and conceded only one time.

Thanks to four victory, plus failure of Manchester City on Boxing Day victory, Manchester United now successfully match his rivals gain points in the standings.

"Failure in the Champions League is the greatest blow because we are a big club and we expected to win the competition, not only escaped the group stage," said Antonio Valencia on ESPN Star.

"We reached the final last season and very painful early exit," he continued.

The pain was eliminated due to make Wayne Rooney et al. determined to retaliate with a good result at the end of the season. No exception to win the Europa League, which they must now follow as compensation out of the Champions League.

"We use the pain. We now train harder and play with more determination, because we have to win something. Whether it's the Premier League, Europa League or FA Cup," said Valencia.
